I am being brave as I prepare to offer a new quiet day in June 2022! I feel excited to offer a space for people to be with God as they use creative medium in their prayer.
We will accompany Peter in his journey with Jesus, using collage, clay or paint to reflect. Be playful, be present to what is and be open to what comes. No creative experience necessary and you will not be required to share with anyone else but God. This quiet day will be in silence most of the time.
GOOD NEWS! I have found a great venue for this quiet day – at the beautiful grounds of Kenepuru hospital chapel, there is a small garden and labyrinth, and a bush walk nearby for you to enjoy God’s presence.
I have often been amazed by how God ministers to us in the ways that are just what we need at the time we need it when we make space for it. This day is about using creativity which often helps us to dialogue with God. We will be alongside Peter from the gospels and see in wonder where God takes us. If this sounds like you please register your interest or ask more questions if you like.
Quiet day: Wonder as I wander – a journey with Peter
Come as you are, and be open to wonder, as you wander. Connect with God in creative ways, as we make the journey along with Peter.
There will be gentle guidance for some creative processes using collage, clay or paint. There will be multiple options for you to engage with the material in whatever way you feel comfortable. This day is for you to feel the freedom to create but no pressure to share with anyone but God. Come and spend the day wandering with God, in wonder.
